I noticed up top it says 6 days until the convertible is unveiled. So does unveiled mean the same as released (as in to dealerships)? Why would they not delay it's release until the supply issues are first resolved? I mean what's the point of releasing a car that has known problems upsetting people, and making the IUP shortage worse for those of us coupe guys?

The job1 is sometime in January
You'll see them at the dealerships a month or 2 after (if they do the same as the coupes and do a quality check on the first batches)
And 'known problems'
The car is not plagued with problems...you have a select set of problems you hear about on the site, but its only marginal.
You don't hear about all the problem free cars do you?

Unveiled means shown to public first time at LA and Detroit Auto show. Job 1 is start of production. As Boomer said, they will show up at dealer a couple of months after job 1. There will be plenty of 'vert buyers that don't want IUP. I don't know what other problems you are worried about.
