I've been looking into ordering a V6 Premium convertible. So far I haven't been able to find any prices for them. Has any one heard what its going to be? Or has anyone ordered one and gotten the price? If it's to much over the coupe I might just have to go with that. Either way it's still a stang. Can't beat it.

$32 - 33K should be the range for the GT. It won't be a good seller without a hefty discount and rebates. There should be plenty to go around.

$33k sounds ... insane.

Ford's done a good job so far of keeping the price reasonable, they seemed to understand how important that was to the Mustang's success... and then they're gonna charge $7k for a ragtop, not to mention that they're grafting that old POS top from the SN95 on so you're not even getting a newer, better top for that price?

I had hoped with the utterly reasonable pricing on the hardtops that the convertibles would yield similar results. I guess I was wrong?

Ibeg to differ the sn95 top has three bows where the s197 has 4 bows and z folds ( which means the top forms its own boot.) Also if you look at the back the top is one piece instead of two as with the current car.

I put an order in for a loaded GT silver rag,red leather, black top.
He did all the pricing for a gt coupe and added $4,500 on top of that. ( canadian)
I put $1000.00 pending new price list. With the discount i got, i am looking at $43,413 on the road.

Most folks are still making 90's wages[if they are lucky].
If FORD is smart they'll keep prices within reason. Of course they have bumped the base up already from that of the launch.
-Just checked out Brads vert post and yes FORD was smart; $24,495 starting for the Deluxe V6! Yee Ha!
