I'm not sure what point you'tr trying to make. When did anyone care about the back seat in a Mustang?
Yea, the back seats are for non-paying customers, who cares?

I think it just has to do with consistency. If you put red inserts in the front, put them in the rear as well. It looks a bit odd, but I won't be crying about it either.

we've been discussing this some time ago. those are rendered images, computer-generated. the red insert will not be on the production version (unfortunately. it'd look good imo)
We are still talking about this not showing up only in the back aren't we?

The current order guide clearly states for the interior upgrade package:
"Red sport bucket leather front and rear seating surfaces with red front door drim inserts and red floor mats...."

It better still be there, don't bring me that kind of disappointment.

I'm sure you are, just checking.

That's probably that little flexi-plastic they put around the edge of seatbelt openings so that when the seat belt slides forward, up down, whatever you dont have a nice deep hole in the side of your car exposing the innards.

Another quick question - what are these holes in the back? Are they for child seat restraints? I've never seen them before.

Thanks,

Karl

Thanks for the quick reply - I've just not seen them in any of the other pics.

Going to call the dealership tomorrow for my wife and see whether we can negotiate a $ amt over invoice!

Sorry for the change in topic from seatbelts, but are the fog lights on the GT a little "brighter" in finish than the headlights? I can't tell if my eyes are fooling me, but the headlights seem to be more shadowy in the pics versus the GT fog lamps...?

It's going to look that way, since the headlights are recessed slightly with a clear cover over the front of them, whereas the fog lights in the grille are flush and can reflect light appearing brighter.

Just when I was feelin a little down... my interior "chops" make another run. Can't thank you enough TampaBear. You have made my week. Thanks to every that liked them, and if there are any who don't like them, thank you too. Critics make it easier find flaws and to make adjustments.

I AM KING OF THE INTERIOR!!!

Definitely like the two tone colors that you posted. The black and blue I really like. They did hint at different colors coming out in the following years. Let's hope they take note of this thread!

I think the red interior will get old after a while, and hopefully not turn pink.
Take it from me, I've had 2 cars with Red Leather interiors. My 83 Avanti II, and my 87 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. Red leather doesn't fade and turn Pink. What happens to Red, or any other color leather, is it Burns and Darkens actually. Red Vinyl now on the other hand can turn color and get a bit lighter but it won't turn Pink.

Besides most of the materials used in Car Interiors today are either treated or made to be UV resistant. The best way to Protect your Leather Interior is to get your Windows Tinted. Trust me again, I have seen Identical cars the same year and same mileage, with and without Tinted windows and the condition of the 2 are drastic, and you don't even have to get Dark Tint, just make sure it Cuts UV Rays. But I want My Tint BLACK! I like the Coolness, and Privacy it Adds.
