You have great taste as well. Our stangs are nearly identical. Thanks and good luck to you also.
Just so you know what I've been dealing with and what kind of information I've been receiving. I emailed my dealer after getting the commodities report here and here is his reply.
"Jamie,
The information that you have found regarding the IUP is not correct. I have a
couple of sheets that I can fax to you from our Ford Rep. that go over the
allocation and the status of commodities available. Your Mustang in it's
current build of commodities will not be built as we understand our Rep.
You are the next one in line to be built, but that must take into consideration
the commodities availability. We have another GT on order for the dealership
without the IUP. Our Ford Rep has told us that this will be built before the
ordered one will be (yours) because it does not have the IUP as an option. The
IUP just isn't there.
Please let me know what your fax is so that I can get this info to you.
Thank you, and I am sorry you were misinformed,
Willis"

I'm not sure what they are referring to. The prior week that was probably true. If you look at all the folks that got pulled this past week, the majority of them were extremely old orders and virtually every one of them had IUP.

Yes, my deal said basically the same thing. Then 2 days later he's calling me saying mine went from C/U to Sub to Plant. Then 2 weeks later I had a vin & a schedule date.
And again like Karpro said, it's a regional thing, so not all regions will say 100%. But should be at like 70 or 80 or so. I would sugesst that you contact the sales manager. He or she should get a daily report. I just talked to mine & he was as helpful as he could be considering noone really knows where my car is, excpet to say it's shipped by convey.
So I would contact the sales manager & wait a day or two & see what they say then. JMO. Good luck with whatever happens.

That's the other issue. IUP was readily available last week but GT's were still only at less than 60%. It's a shame when they use your dealers allocation like that.
