Commodities report week 14

I see your postings every week. Does that mean that of all mustangs, 37% of them are GT's, including the vert production as well? In any case, 37% means they will still be pretty rare on the lots with the demand that is still out there.
I dunno why they keep wanting to make V6 stangs when there are PLENTY on the lots all over the place.

B ) Ford can only produce so many of each kind. Historically the V6 has been the big seller. But more to the point in order for Ford to make more GT's they would have to ramp up production at the Romeo plant or start reducing production of other cars that use the same V8 engine (say the F-150?) and Ford has already stated they won't do that. So unless magically a bunch of V8's appear unused V8 production will not increase.

I agree Stadifer and aponyfan - your right on. I was one of the lucky 37% this last week so I'm ok with the numbers.
I'll add that I think the V6's will sell fast this spring. Especially if the customer makes the mistake of taking one for a test drive! :drive:

Like 75% now order IUP and Ford only predicted it would be in the teens?
Are GT orders passing up V-6's?
I would think Ford would just drop the 05's at some point and ramp-up (big time) for 06... which might even make the 05's more rare! Any thoughts Pro?
