Come on BAMACHIPS!

I pulled the trigger on a C&L CAI and a tuner from Doug on thursday (May 24th). Any idea how long it normally takes from order to receipt? I have not heard anything back from Bamachips other than they pulled the $700 outta my account yesterday (Monday). Would this be a sign it shipped?

Probably a sign that they have the money and are at least thinking of your tune. Doug and CR (Tillmanspeed) are wicked busy with that stuff. Mine was a 2 week wait time.

I ordered mine on a Thursday, showed up Saturday morning. I got lucky!

He's in Oklahoma this week doing some custom tuning for customers. There are a few threads about it on here.

Two weeks. I was told that the online inventory numbers are not accurate. The website said he had 2400 in stock, when he was actually out. Worth the wait, though.

Funny, I ordered the exact same thing on friday the 25th!

But I'd actually be really surprised if I received it in less than 2 weeks. I think the shortest amount of time that I waited for any of my other mods from other vendors was 1 week and most of those are pretty small items that you just pull off a shelf and ship. Here someone has to upload the tunes onto the SCT and quality check that they are giving you the right tune for your car. I'm not worried yet.

If you want I can PM you when I get mine.

why wouldn't you just contact them to find out the status of the order? Makes sense to me.

It's not that I am worried or concerned, and I would prefer to wait quite awhile before complaining since I have NO intention on feeding my pony a bum tune...

I am just looking forward to having it and since so many ppl have already been down this road for CAI/tuner, I thought I would have some idea of leadtime.

I noticed after the trigger pull that Doug was to be at the show in OK. I think I could drive to OK if I knew he would have my CAI and tuner there and could tweek it with the dyno.

Actually I should have ordered it two weeks ago but had to wait till I collected money from my paper route and from walking the neighbors dogs. You know those old ppl don't get their welfare money till after the 20th...
