KansasCityTim Thank you! That’s what I was hoping for, but I guess it is moot point for us because my wife loves it but strongly feels that we shouldn’t get it because it would be more of a ticket magnet than the mustang is already. I wonder if there is any science behind that.
Well, as you can see, I ordered Torch Red. I think it is probably true that cops look for red cars, but you won't get a ticket if you don't deserve it.
Personally, I think that cops will look for GTs regardless, getting a different color won't help a lot, IMO. Also, I have just gotten to where I budget about $1000 a year for tickets. Here in Kansas, you can have any reasonable tickets amended to non-moving violations for double the ticket price. Ends up being like $200 per ticket, but the insurance company doesn't find out about it.

Would you like to see Colorado Red on a 2003 Mustang and then
on a 2006 Mustang in your driveway?
THEN remember that it's THE DRIVER in the car that determines
the NUMBER of speeding tickets. I am 42 and have received 3
speeding tickets in my life. ALL 3 were in white cars: '86 Cougar
and '88 Probe GT (2). I have driven WHITE for a total of 10 years.
RED has been driven 7 years--> 2 Mustangs, 1 Miata. Well I couldn't
speed much in a Miata so maybe those two years don't count.
RED is a magnet? Maybe it's the collective group of RED car drivers
that are out there speeding. Is it the car or the drivers of RED cars?
You and your wife think about it and decide. Good Luck.
