Hello

I have a question about colors. Can anyone tell me what color this 2005 mustang is? This is the color that has been touring the country. Secondly, I have noticed that there are two red colors. If I was to get the Interior Upgrade, would I have a choice between the two reds, or is it just red? Also, if I got a different exterior color...say black for example, would I be able to get any interior color I wanted and not just black...say red for example.

Thanks

Thats redfire.
The interior colors are completely independant of exterior colors. The red IUP doesn't necessarily match with either torchred or redfire.
And yes you can mix and match interiors and exteriors provided you are ordering the car and not planning on just going to the lot to get one.

In the photo above it looks rather pink than Redfire. We have seen several photos where the color looks like this. I guess it's just a bad camera that doesn't get the color right.

hehe hang on a second, I'll just browse the board for some photos from the 40th anniversary event at nashville. There were a couple of guys who posted photos, and on some it looked like Redfire, on others it looked like pink (yay, sure I'm exaggerating. If I say 'pink' I mean that the metallic effect doesn't show up that good... watch the hood on the picture above and you know what I mean )

Color- I finally figured out a good way for me to choose from black and redfire. I like them both equally. Whichever I get a better deal on thats what I am getting.

Yeah I think I see what you mean, on that hood. I think those would be sunlight and camara issues.

<Since this was brought up>

Im planning on buying one off the lot (well, maybe through AAA... but not ordering it)

Is there any information on what comes with each package yet? {Interior Wise}; (Or is there a diffrence depending on what color you want?!)... Standard, ect, ect...?

Sorry if I missed it.

I find redfire on the current cars can appear as several shades depeding on the lighting, moreso than other colours. It goes from a nice red in sunlight, to a dark purple in the shade.

We don't know anything about packages really, we can't even confirm what all the options will be.

Colors on a computer don't mean anything. Not only can your monitor brightness change the perceived color, but the photo itself may not be accurate. This can all be fixed by the author's changing the brightness and hue in a program like Photoshop, but most amateur digital photographers aren't going to do this .. maybe because they're unaware of how to do it.

Does anyone know what kind of wheels these are????

I REALLY like them!! They remind me of Torque Thrust II's.

I thought the Bullitt wheels wouldn't work because of the different bolt pattern?!?!

Also, I thought the Bullitt's only came with the darker grey in the middle.

But, thanks for the reply!!

I'm going to take that pic with me when I order & tell 'em I want those wheels!! I guess I'll just see what they say.

Bullit wheels from the previous car wouldn't work, but that didn't stop them from re-tooling the design to make a set that works with the 05.

The surfaces reflecting the bright blue sky are what makes the red look pinkish purple. It's just that in the first picture there's a LOT more horizontal surface showing - the hood. Take a look at hood in the second picture you posted - there are pink/purple highlights there too.
