Have any of you that already have your Stang's or those in the waiting room made a formal request to the dealership not to adhere their advertising to the rear-end of the car?

Just wondering if it's an unspoken rule not to place sticky dealer logos on the backs of these cars out of respect or whatever you want to call it.

My dealer in the Phoenix area is Sunset Ford. They don't put any decals on their cars. It sure is nice not to have any advertising on my car. They only put a license plate frame on the back which you can easily take off.

And I botched the title, which is not editable: A CLEAN Rear End

The dealer I purchased from in San Francisco does put their dealer stickers on. Yesterday when I picked up my Mustang I was in the lobby of the dealership and a V6 Legend Lime was sitting there with a sticker on the back. I checked out mine in the lot and it didn't have a sticker on it, if it did I would be upset. :notnice:

My Mustang didn't come with one, but the last car I got in New Jersey did. Luckily they used one of those stickers that easily comes off without any residue. If they had used a more permanent one I would have freaked.

Stickers are tacky. License plate frames are where it's at. 8)

I specifically requested that they not put a sticker on my car.... When I picked it up, quess what!! THERE WAS A FRIKEN STICKER ON THE TRUNK LID!!!! It was one of those vinyl, easily removable types.

I picked my car up the same day it came in and it had a sticker on it. Vinyl one so it came off easy. The salesman himself helped me take it off. I had to be careful because the owner of the dealership is a friend of the family so I didn't want him finding out.....

I took my car almost as soon as it came in so they didn't have time to put any decals on it. Plus on this mustang in particular i tihnk a decal woulda detracted from the look more so than usual.

I specifically told my dealer to make sure no stickers were put on it. I'd do the same if I were you, just to make sure.

Ditto that!! I called my salesman to make sure, and he said that they do not do it, but I just wanted to make sure. Also no front tag (we do not need them in FL - yet)

They put the sticker on mine, but I asked to have it taken off and it only took like five minutes.

Just tell your salesman ahead of time to have them not put anything on when they prep the car, that's what I did

I was lucky and they used a tag holder but thats coming off. Speaking of clean rear ends. Has anybody noticed how much dust collects on the back of the car while driving? I have a Cali duster but dang, seems like its magnatized back there....

I specifically told them not to put any dealer stickers, decals, or anything on the car. They did the same thing with the license plate, which I will eventually repalce!

I would say something, it never hurts to be sure, and they may do it if you don't say anything.

I had the dealer logo on my rear end, so the first thing I did when I got home was peel it off.
No harm done.

When I picked up my car there was a dealer sticker on it. I asked the sales person to remove it and when I came out it was gone.

When I ordered, I told them to put NOTHING on my car when they did they're prepping. No front plate, no stickers, nada.

They complied, they only thing they did was put the rear plate advert frame on the back...since they were so nice, I left it on until my lisence plates came in, then I took that off.
