Classic Pair

A co-worker brought in his 1966 Corvette today @ work. Of course he had to park next the the only other nice ride in the parking lot
I couldn't pass up the chance to get a few pics.
I realize mines not really a classic, but IMO it is to me, I'll be keeping it until it is!
Hope I don't get blasted for posting a 'cough' Chevy on here, but it is a sharp ride.

Hey Larry,
I wouldn't torch you. You and I are from the same era. While I would not buy an old Vet I sure can appreciate them for the car they are. I would spend my hard earned bucks on another classic mustang!! That is a great picture! I am looking forward to see your car in a few weeks. I see you have louvers on the back window. Cool! If I knew the weather could be trusted for 2 days I would drive the 70 Mach to the Brown County Meet... but I know I would get screwed!!

Those years of Corvettes are the only years of the Vette I really like. The new ones, they're everywhere. Very nice pics, and nice Stang.

Awesome. And the coolest thing is that next to the Vette, your Mustang looks just great, and although updated,.....is just as mean and "retro" in it's own way. Great pic!!

They are just sweet Ravenblack!!!!!!! WE had a 65 vert until 2005. Sold it to buy the 05 vert. It was too nice to drive so it always sat in the garage coverd up. Pretty much what the 70 Mach 1 does.

Well when you're ready to part with the '70 Mach, I know a nice, well-mannered, handsome ( ) young man who would take great pride in having it........

.... and to think I owned a '70 Boss 302 when I was a teenager. I could barely afford it then. I can't afford it now! And it had all the highly desirable options (and some rare ones too). Factory 4.30 Detroit Locker (W-code) to name just one.... Check out my Cragars with L50-15s on the rear, jacked up with Gabriel Hijackers so they wouldn't rub! Oh yeah, and headers with Thrush header mufflers were the extent of my exhaust system.... The things we did as kids....

Willie,
My last Mustang before my 06 was a 70 Grabber Blue Boss 302. I've got to dig up some of the pics of that one. It had headers & cherry bombs on it as well. A friend of mine & myself repainted it & at the time I didn't have the money to buy the factory stripe kit, so we painted the stripes on. Wasn't much past a teen then myself. If only had known then, eh? LOL

It's going out to a new spot that is having a Friday night cruise-in tommorow. One thing I'll say about having an old classic is it's better than money in a bank. I bought her 5 years ago for $29K. Just had here appraised for insurance reasons and it came back at $42K. Here's the one you want to buy. The Grabber Blue 1970 428 for $89K.
