,,,,wonder what the mafia thinks of this concept of being able to open a trunk from inside
they'd probably think it's bad for business

Anyways, I think it's a cool idea. I remember my '69 Boss had a huge clock above the glove compartment.

The whole trunk thing is a part of a new Federal law that requires emergency access from the inside. This was because of the rash of carjackings where people got locked in their own trunks.

Also...does this car come with optional flux-capacitor to go with that chronometer?

If you did get out of a mafia trunk, it might be hard to run with concrete shoes.

I remember talking about concrete shoes in high school. A girl raised her hand and asked the teacher; "How do they know what size you wear?" The whole class laughed, but she was serious.

Chronometer? Even my 86 GT had one. The only thing I used it for was timing trips to see how fast different routes were.

that's probably what i would use if for as well. just see which way is faster to and from work. glad my dad didn't have one of those when i was a kid. otherwise we'd be racing the clock on roadtrips. lol.

Plus, they would already have slammed your fingers in the trunk before they put you in it, might be a bit hard to grab the handle with broken fingers.......

The Feds are always picking on the poor ole wiseguys....mandatory pull handles...

As for the Chrono, cool, but I agree with hdw, probably never gonna be used...well, maybe a few times...
