I like sunroofs, let a lot of light into the car and it's nice to open it up on a nice day for a vent.

Aftermarket roofs are ok but they never look quite right. A factory roof would be sweet. Ford should offer one on the coupe. It would be cool to have an open air option other than the way more expensive full blown convertible.

Yeah, a T-top would make my "passenger ejection seat" project much easier.

I don't think it looks that bad. I agree with the previous poster - it'd be nice to have the extra light in the cabin and open it up on a warm sunny day...

I like sunroofs (although it does look kinda goofy on the stang ) but adding a T-Top option would be awesome!

I remember reading somewhere that a Ford engineer stated that there wasn't enough headroom in the Mustang to put in a sunroof. He stated that they wanted to offer it, but there was no way they could do it to their standards. I'm sure an aftermarket sunroof will probably leak at some point.

One vote here for bringing back the T-Top! II's had T-Tops, much better than ugly sunroofs.

Why get a convertible if you don't like them? My 88 Turbo Coupe has a sunroof, and I have never heard anyone describe it as a "fugly car" because it does, a description somebody gave sunroof-equipped Mustangs earlier in this thread.

That said, I like sunroof-equipped cars but with the exception of cars like the Cobra roadster (hence the roadster part), I do not generally like convertibles. I don't like the rigidity you lose in going to a convertible, or the poor visibility they possess, or the odd "dark" look they always seem to have with the top up.

There is a reason they make cars with both sunroofs and convertible tops, wether or not the Mustang is available this way.
