test drive of convertible GT and Saleen 281......the convertible did 0-60 in 5.2 and 1/4 in 13.8..... the saleen was a disappointment in performance -0-60- 5.0 and 1/4 13.5..325 hp. not worth the $ for no real difference than stock.they want to do a retest on saleen due to failed emission testing.looks great but i wouldn't buy it for these small performance gains

 

Yeah I hear ya, the 281 saleen is a waste of money. There is a dealership around here with a couple and they are asking like $42 grand for one. IMO the rear end on the saleens look like S#^% and the wheels are hideous.

The S281 (the one with the supercharger) should be quite a bit faster though.

If I was seriously looking to spend the money, I would rather wait for the corba.
