I hope all of you realize that this is a TRUE OCC motorcycle, produced and shown on their show on Discovery (American Chopper). I remember watching it.

As for the price: yes it's expensive, but it's truely a One of a kind motorcycle that was built by a reputable custom bike shop and was documented on TV.

If you've seen this particular episode, you may reconsider the price as being "excalated". (I say that b/c I don't remember all of it...ie-if Carroll shelby was included for "input" into the build or not, but I want to say that he was).

Think about it: Barrett Jackson auctions brought how much money for VIN #1 of certain Shelby vehicles that are massed produced. Granted, those go to charity, but still. I bet this bike on the auction block would go for serious moolah.

In terms of it being like an eleanor...that was the point of the build, and I believe it had Shelby's "backing" on it. It's totally different than the Mercedes example.

Sure doesn't sound like sarcasm to me. You bolded "break" and have a shaking head icon.

I believe sarcasm should have a j/k, , , or another similar icon at the end

500k isn't too bad considering the minimum that OCC is now charging for a fully custom theme bike by Paul Jr is 250k.

If I were a billionaire, I might buy it! But I think I'd rather have a bunch of Mustangs and a GT!

Yea they went out to Las vegas and met carrol for the build and Paul Sr. beat the snot out of a Eleanor car and on and on. I dont remember who the bike was built for though. I dont care if they built it for the Pope it isnt worth half a mill IMO but hey a fool and his money.....

Half a million and it doesn't even come with a warranty !! OMG !! I don't care if Shelby himself welded the thing together. $500.000 for a motorcycle is insane. Guess it will take an insane person to actually buy the thing. Then again it seems alot of rich people have more money than brains and will probable think nothing of paying that much for a motorized bicycle.

The Tutel's built this bike for Unique Performance. This company builds the Foose mustangs, and the Elenor clones. Located in Farmers Branch, TX. Basically a sub of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I've been to there shop and it's fricking insane the amount of cars there.

So for 500k for a one of a kind bike, it's worth it. Now as to why they are selling it, not sure.

For 500k you could get them to build at least 5 different one-of-a-kind bikes. Seems a little greedy for a non-charity bike. They build them a one-of-a-kind bike, then they promptly hoe it out. Displaying this present at their shop isn't good enough for them. Reminds me of the original overhaulin 05 mustang. "gee thanks, I'm gonna ebay it now"...The charity one-off bikes typically get around 125-150(the Tutel's will even fork out around that for their OWN bike if the auction is a little slow, all for charity, then just keep it in the showroom). These guys are filthy greedy. Anyone who watches the show know they aren't worth that much and never get it at auctions, again, even when its for a charitable cause(i.e. the 600k Mustang Shelby GT)..

That is the bike from the show, BUT, that bike was also at Barrett Jackson in January. It went across the auction block (at least I thought it did). It was in the catalog of vehicles for sale. Don't know what is going on with it.

I've seen this bike in person, and although it is an imaculant piece of art, it is not worth $500K.

This bike is for a die hard collector that will never ride it.

I've got plenty of pics of this bike from when it was at a local show.
