P0456 Very Small Leak Detected in Evaporative Emission Control System ...now the fun begins bringing it in to the dealer tomorrow first thing in the morning... i will let you know how it turns out.......

I had the check engine light come on in my car a total of three times...and each time the car was running fine.
The first time the dealer checked the car and reset the computer...second time the light shut off on its own.

The last time the light came on a few days after I had the car in for service and had the TSB done on the front struts...I took the car back to the dealer and when they checked the car they found a valve in the emission system sticking open, the reset the computer and ordered the part...and when it came in I went back to the dealer and the replaced the part in about 45 minutes.

A month or so ago I had my first , and so far only , problem with getting the fuel tank to fill up. There are several threads in here about the slow to fill problem. Anyway , I finally got it filled and made sure the cap was secure. When I got home I used my Predator to check for trouble codes and found the same one as you. I cleared it and it has not happend again , either the fill problem or the trouble code so I'm assuming they're related ...

Check engine light came on my stang, took it to dealer, ran a computer test on it, said it was leaky vapor(?) possibly coming from new tank......told me to not use the locked gas cap, so now back to using the original cap. They turned off the check engine light and said to see if that helps. So far, so good.

UPDATE>>>>>>>>Had to get a new gas cap to replace the original one that was on the new fuel tank......guess they didn't fit together too well. The vapor leak was coming from the gas cap.
