Chances of a new Bullit?
I see it as "unlikely", as its already been done and no one really took any notice. Whereas i think there will be another mach, even though its been done, it made quite a splash.
Then again, i just got my license 2 days ago and for all i know ford may sell out to kia tommorow.

i think they do want to build other past name plates, so you may see a boss or shelby first, but i could be wrong, i though i read a long time ago that they wanted to make name plates they havent redone before they make mach's and bullits again

it may not have gotten the same attention as the Mach, but the Bullitt sure sparked a lot interest! if they make a bullitt i guaran-freakin'-tee that those babies will sell quicker than you can say "Steve McQueen"

It's very possible. The friction between Ford and the McQueen estate/Warner Bros has eased a bit. As a matter of fact, it has gotten cozy otherwise Ford would not have been able to include the 68GT in last year's commercial or have Steve McQueen image in the Cornfield, which in both instances came from movie clips. 2008 will be the 40th anniversary of the movie and the 68 GT.
Would Ford take advantage of its most popular Mustang and use its history to bring back some spice like in 2000 after the current hoopla calms down a bit? And remember, Ford took some heat for not making the 2001 to a higher performance level and short changing it by excluding some of the features from the prototype so they have some ground to make up. In addition, The Camaro might be brought back. If that happens Ford will need to pull another rabbit from its old hat.
I might even do Ford a favor
and get one.

I love the chrome around the grill and the chrome door handles and mirrors, but not crazy about the chrome fake bumper.
hasn't there been talk about ford promising they wouldn't make another bullitt mustang after the 2000 Bullitt
haha that burningman chop still has the cobra emblems on the wheels.
not that I care because he makes such nice chops
