the center console cover is a pain....it should swing towards the passenger side for easy access for the driver...the current setup is a pita...

Ooh, that is a goood idea! The way it opens now is a PITA.

 

while they are at it they could make an area on the inside cover for an ipod...plus put on spring loaded hinges and an interior light...

 

I have no problem. I think some people just do not like to change things they are used to. I opened it today while my Wife was driveing and liked the fact that I could look for items easily from the passenger seat.

 

Or it could be the fact that it's easier to use if it opens sideways.
