CEL with AM//BAMA tune?
Driving home from work today and I got my first CEl. I hooked up my SF3 to read the code, said it was the o2 lean. I've had the tunes updated every time something new has went on my car. I have had my O/R X-pipe on for about a month with no CEL until today. Should I put the car back to stock and then put the "race tune" back in or do I need to call AM/BAMA and make sure everything is correct? Thanks for the help.

Well that's weird, that's the code I just threw as well (Bama), but haven't had time to call them about it yet. I'll be giving them a call and suggest you do the same. They are great to work with and work quick. Let me know the outcome.

I manually cleared the code but when I started it again it popped right back up. Yeah I guess I should give them a call in the am. I'll post what I find out.

I get a CEL light come on every week, has to do with the rear O2 sensor and hi flo cats. I have the JLT II CAI and Bama did the tune for it. I e-mailed asking him to send a new tune with O2 sensor turned off and for some reason he stopped responding to me all together.

You cant turn off the O2 sensor or yur car will run like crap, the catalytic sensor can be turned off, had the same issue,I run a KNN CAI, Longtubes, o/h pipe w/exhaust cuttouts , Detroit Rockers , AM sent me a new tune and havent had the code again... Good luck !!!

OP, What was the specific code? Was it P1151E? If so, there is a TSB out for it and it's not something you should be worried about. It's related to the mid-pipe. Nothing serious.
Please call or email my Tuning Specialists 888-226-9764 or bama@americanmuscle.com and they can check your calibration for any possible issues.
^I'm terribly sorry to hear this, do you know who you were talking to?
Can you PM me all your information and I can have my Tuning Specialists get to you right away!

Just to clarify things after speaking with American Muscle, it was not them I was dealing with originally, it was the previous owner of Bamachips.
