Congrats and welcome to the Shaker club.

Small suggestion if I may. Loosen the Throttle Body bolts slightly and push the shaker about 1/2" towards the driver side.
You can see in this pic that it's slightly to far to the passenger side.

i read in the online manual that it comes with a block off plate for the fender airbox opening..... mine did not come with this.

i also remember reading that the shaker does not allow enough air flow so the stock airbox opening needs to stay open....

what do you guys think? have any of you tried blocking the stock opening?

I've got mine hooked up to my CAI,but I didn't get any block-off piece in mine.
I'd leave it open if mine was still stock, more air, the better.

yeh, I want one of those sooooooooooooo bad...My dad wont let me buy one though. He's really scared about cutting the hole, and that if I mess up he didnt want to have to drop some huge bill at the body shop that I couldnt afford....just to get it fixed. There is logic, but cOMONNNNNN THAT LOOKS SOOOOOOOO COOL!

The hole was CAKE man....

i did it with an angle grinder!!!!

and it was still easy.... you tape it off, tape down the template, cut it out with a razer, then cut it out...

its aluminum too so it cuts like butter!!! no problem at all

[quote=n8rfastback;951125]also, installing the bolts in the throttle body were a pain too...

We have found that if you cut the bottom of the holes on the trottle body mount, you can just slip it over the bolts and adjust it where you want it and tighten it down.

I also have one in stock, pm me for a TMS price.

Looking good Nate. How do you like that JLT?
Also, like Leo says, but the sill letters on your shaker.I had them on mine before I cut the shroud off, really added to it. Here's a pic before I trimmed the shroud.
