I think these intakes are well designed and engineered. If I ever decide to swap hoods, this is the way to go.

I can't wait to see that bad boy installed. I thought long and hard about getting that setup w/ the Foose hood, but I digress...

Tell me, how hard was it to install that shifter? Do you still have to get under the car for part of the install?

Thanks,

ok!!!! shaker installed. man that thing looks so badass.... it totally changes the way the car looks... i will get some pics in a bit and get them on here.

the install was cake!!! i think the hardest part was the stupid clips that hold the hood blanket on.... i broke a sweat pullling them, but nothing else.

the hurst does require that you get under the car to remove the bolts... i had another guy help me get it into position too.... 2 people makes it way easier!!!

i used a 4" angle grinder to cut the hole, and it came out perfect...
also, installing the bolts in the throttle body were a pain too...

otherwise it went wicked fast. took me only 3 hours start to finish!!!

Nate,

Man, you must have a lot of confidence. You installed that really quick. I really like the look of your car. I would love to get one, but just hate the thoughts of cutting into the hood.

it was a piece of cake!! i was scared at first too, but i just got out the cutting wheels and went to it! came out great and i am very glad i did it

i was amazed at how easy the hood cut, but the aluminum is very thin!!
