Car won't start...
I just got my clutch replaced a week ago. I'm now in Andover, OH and my car won't start. Nothing... Battery is ok, checked starter, checked fuel reset switch, disarmed rearmed disarmed alarm... no clicking of the started nothing at all except the beeping noise when the key is put into the ignition.
Anyone?
I need my car to work at 7am on Sunday... it's 9pm on Friday... Ford is paying for all of this and then some. I'm pissed.

No starter click or crank or anything at all. Battery is fine, I can crank my stereo and turn on all my lights and everything. I pulled the starter fuse but it's a closed box so I could not see the actual fuse like the smaller fuses. I dropped it off at Classic Ford where I bought it as they have a night drop with service envelopes too. If this has something to do with the clutch somehow that Blackwell dealership in Plymouth will pay be back as this wouldn't be a "fix" like I paid them $750 for.
Enfynet,
The clutch pedal position (CPP Part # 11A152) switch prevents the starter motor from engaging unless the clutch pedal is depressed all the way to the floor.
The switch plunger is contacted by the clutch pedal and extends as the clutch pedal is pressed.
The clutch pedal position switch is electrically connected in line with the ignition switch and the starter motor relay coil.
i think your problem is there.

Ok, found the problem... apparently something happened with the Clutch Switch so that was replaced ...
New problem...
Drove to bank, car stalled out 5 times... 4 at stoplights. Took her back to the dealer and now they're saying it's the throttle body. The car threw 4 trouble codes when I started it leaving the bank. 2 for IAC and 2 for Clutch Switch Circuit.
Anyone up for a mod day to put a Chevy smallblock carb'ed motor without computers in this car?

Resetting the computer didn't help, and the initial diagnosis from the dealer was throttle body is at fault..
let's see how this goes, she's scheduled for a check up next Saturday.
Good luck. They told me to bring it in Wednesday to get it replaced. When I came home I disconnected the battery and let the computer re-learn the idle trim as best as I could but then when I drove it up and down the street it did the same thing. As soon as there was no load on the engine the RPMs dropped below 500 and surged back up. On top of that, the ***** that live on the half-undeveloped street behind me threatened to call the cops on me for "hot rodding" down their street. He changed it to a threat on my car's "condition" when I told him I was only going 35.

Then they can rightfully call the police.
