This car is nicely engineered.

I think people will generally be very happy with the new Stang. I have been working on one now for a while and have been fairly impressed with the amout of pride that went into this build. It is a well made machine, that is for sure.
Good luck to those that have or are going to get this car, and I hope you love it!
You never know how well a car is made untill you tear it apart..lol
Most mods are going to be easily done. The exhaust tubing is emmaculate.
Springs are a cinch in the rear. took me 15 mins. The fronts are a diff. story. You will need a spring compressor tool. No more jacks in the driveway. But I don't think it will be too bad if you have to take it to a shop.
Any way.. enough of my rambling...If you have any questions please PM me or email me..
I have had most of this car apart in my hands.. hehehe So I might be able to help out on some install questions too..
Thanks!
David

Well the deck lid is aluminum so it should hold up a little weight such as the satalite antenna like you would need to mount.
As far as how is she doing?? Well... Basic bolt on's are working just fine, such as exhaust and things like that. (Cold air kit) Havent really gotten into too much that would mean a computer recal, But we are nearing that point. I'll keep you informed.

Hey David, glad to have you with us!
There's been talk about supercharging this engine being a no-go because of the pistons/rings being too marginal to take extra boost.
I'll keep mine stock, but I am sure others are wondering. Any feedback on that?

No internal trunk release? What is the button inside the console, then? I sat in one when they were touring the cars last spring and I thought there was a trunk release button in the console. If that wasn't for the trunk, what was it for?

I wanted to mount the antenna under the deck lid. Oh well.

Yeah, but aluminum would block radio signals, so that leaves out placing the antenna on the inside.
