took me a while to figure out those pics are of your car on a flatbed. Man, that sucks. Obviously this is under warranty so the dealer is to provide you with a rental. You would just need to pay for the insurance on the rental.

Might want to check the fuel shutoff switch that shuts the fuel off if your in a accident..maybe it got tripped or just went nuts..its under the dash on the drivers side.. look in the owners manual it tells you how to reset it..Just a thought

tell me about it...it cost me 85 bucks to get towed off the highway.....aaa then towed me the rest of the way..atleast they are going to reinburse me for the 85 bucks...mind you i was 200 feet from the street to the highway...over here there is only one authorized highway tow company..no one else can enter the highyway only them...it`s a joke..

I know I shouldn't but I can't help myself....

Have you considered writing Ford and blasting them about their poor choice of fuses? It should have lasted at least through the warranty period!

Not to poke a hole through Nirvana - but...

Fuses typically don't blow without a cause... Most dealers will just replace the fuse to get you back out the door.
The right answer is for them to do a current draw test on the fuel system and if it is out of spec - start looking for answers..

I agree 100%, 1 month into owning my car, my power seat blew fuses when it reached all the way down and back, without anyone sitting on the seat! They ended up replacing the seat rail, that was 3 months ago, it's still working now.

nope they checked everything they could...my pops was there watching them....they tested the circuits......it might also be from using the sct tuner without pulling the fuse...will see what happens...

Hey sounds like you had the same problem I am having, except that I got a warning. When mine shuts down the lights on the dash goes crazy and the computer starts flashing crazy messages, then she shuts down completly. It has done this to me 3 times and twice with the service manager. The dealership said it was a modulor and a exposed wire were getting hot and shorting out. My baby is in the shop for the 4th time for this problem. Right now they are trying to decide what to do next. My husband says there is talk of maybe swapping me out for a 06 since there is no more 05's now. I have had my stang for a year this month, and have had a new radio, new trans, new speakers, etc etc. I really don't want to get rid of her because they don't have my color, Mineral Gray in 06.......we will see what happens.

I had a 95 GT that did EXACTLY that randomly. Eventually we figured out that the computer was F'ed. We replaced it and never had that problem again.
