Can't believe how fast my GT got here.

Ordered: Feb. 10th
It was built : March 3rd (Only 21 days)
Arrived: March 31st (28 days to Eastern Canada)

It took longer to ship than to order and build!!!!!

I love the 5 year - 60,000 Mile (100,000KM) Powertrain Warranty. Nice to know Ford will cover that expensive Aluminum motor, if I blow it up.

My last mustang was only 3 year - 36,000 Mile (60,000KM) coverage.

Since my Mustang came in too early, it is heading to the garage for a month, until all the salt is done. Until then my 94 V6 mustang just does not seem as nice as it used to be.

PS: Redfire with Bright Alloy Wheels is simply stunning on a GT. This is what I ordered, without ever seeing a GT in this color, glad I risked it. On a V6 there is not enough bright surface to balance out the darker red color.

Perhaps this is my missing car? Does it also have the interior color accent package? Take a look at my signature. The dates would match up.

Currently Ford and my dealer haveno idea where my car is. All they know is that it was lastg reported as being loaded at Flat Rock....

And just so there are no flames, if it is the car I ordered, keep it. I will raise some h@ll and then order an '06, or a Shelby.

I do believe powertrain is longer than 3/36, I do think it is 5/60 for powertrain everything else is 3/36 , except for wear items.

In canada, the warranty is as follows: (Copied out of the canadian brochure)

3 year / 60,000KM bumber to bumber
5yr / 100,000KM powertrain
5yr / Unlimited Corrosion
3yr / 60,000KM Roadside assistance

... Which, by the way, is exactly the same as my 02.

Nice warranty terms... personally I think it only a fair trade. Canada gives us Shania Twain and Avril Lavigne and we give them a longer powertrain warranty. Isn't NAFTA a wonderful thing!!!

We don't need as much of a defence as you do, for a variety of reasons.

GT's must arrive sooner in Canada. Ordered mine Feb 17 and it was in the rail yard April 4. Supposedly built the week of March 21 but suspect it was really built the week of March 14.

Keep on protecting us. Most Canadians appreciate it. Our under-funded forces couln't hardly prevent an invasion by Mexico.

It seems that Mustangs aren't selling at such a clip in Canada right now compared to the states, that could be because gas/taxes are higher. At the same time, not many people were interested in 'Stangs during the cold winter. I suspect the sales will pick up substantially in the next few weeks

congrats
