Thanks for the heads up Tom! I went over the welds at work and pressure tested the tanks and all seems well, with the PC I will notice should it start leaking something as it stands out against the black and is a PITA to clean off.

I've got those, too. Had a thread on them before the crash:

Looks really good Josh.

The big question for me is, are they noticeably brighter at all?

I think so, but I have my taillights tinted with the film kit from Moss, so they're ultimately dimmer than stock. I actually got them hoping they were brighter to shine through the tint, but I think during the day with sun glare they're still difficult to see, because of the tint not the LEDs. But there are other cars that way, too, that I see on a regular basis. They do have a different pattern within the taillight housing itself, difficult to see when they're off but noticeable at night. The sequential itself is very cool to have, though, I see people behind me at stoplights commenting on them to passengers all the time.

I haven't yet made a decent video of them at night, but hopefully will soon.

I've got taillights painted with a thin layer of black and then some clear coat. So I am in the same situation and I too was hoping they were brighter so that maybe in the daylight, especially sunshine, they would be more visible to the people behind me.

At night its not a problem, but to be honest even stock taillights can be difficult to see in direct sunlight.

I see alot of cars that are darker than mine for sure. I just wish they had sprayed a little less black on them and I'd feel fine.

Looks awesome EagleStroker!

Sorry for the hijack, but may I ask where you procured that blue air filter for your C&L? It looks pretty trick.

I'll be interested to see what your's look like after they're installed with the spray-on tint. I was thinking of going to a lighter tint on my taillights, but what a hassle.
Besides, picked up the LED signal mirrors on discount from CDC, so shouldn't have much more problem once they're hooked up.
