Unhappy

I called the VOPC line this morning. Right after you press 1 it transfers you to a Customer Service Analyst. I think they have had enough of all of us calling.

Maybe they are updating the system? I called Sunday night and got through no problems at all.

They should just make her avialable online somehow.

Sure would be easier to type than have her drive me nuts trying to understand me....

"T 8 2"
"You said, P82."
"No, T - 8 - 2."
"You said, 82U."
"NO! Teeeee AaaTe Toooo"
"You said, 3A2."

AGRH!!!

The "online" thing the ERL refers to is on the Ford Intranet accessible only by dealerships and other Ford computer systems

Funny... When I call the system it won't let me say letters. All I say is digits. Perhaps this could be part of the problem? Try saying the body code without the letter next time you call if we ever get through again.

You have to say the "T". It is a digit. You don't have to say the letter in the dealer code though.

Am I the only one that has actually talked to the analyst and gotten my information?

The first time, she did not ask any information about the dealership or who I was, just about the car (order number, dealer id, etc) that I would give to the robot lady anyway. She then looked up my info and gave me an update. All in all, she was very pleasant to talk to and did not give me any grief at all.

The second time I was forwarded to an analyst, she asked me for my name (told the truth) and then asked if it was for Vision Ford (yes). She then looked up my info, told me my car was being built as we spoke, gave me an estimated delivery date and told me to call back in a week to get the shipping information. Again, she was very pleasant to talk to.

Whenever I say T-8-0 ERL kicks an error and makes me re-state it. If I merely state 8-0 then ERL says "I understand that the body style is "T80." When it gives the instructions it says to state the digits individually but does not note anything about alpha characters.

Dunno why it does it like that for me

Totally agree. I'm to the point now I can almost say the prompts before she even asks for them.....
