Canadian Mustang Vert Info

A quick Update!
Mustang Convertible - Status Update
Mustang Convertibles are starting to arrive at various ramps across Canada
Convertibles are being held at the ramps until there is a "critical mass" of units (dealer units and Merch units) available to cover off major dealers within major markets
One of the challenges the industry is currently facing is a shortage of Tri-Level Rail Cars - this is causing a delay in the shipment of convertibles
Based on our current forecast we expect to see Convertibles arriving at dealerships by the end of March for Ontario & Eastern, and early April for Pacific, Western and Atlantic

The Canadian release date for the '05 convertible will be March 29. Every dealer in Ontario receiving an initial build unit will have it by March 31.
The greater Toronto area dealers will hold a media event/drive-away in downtown Toronto which had been planned for March 18, but has now been postponed till March 29.
So close, but still so far!

No April Fools!
Ford has announced the March 29 Release Date.
Up until now Ford has been saying "on the ground in early April".
A specific date is progress. It means any concerns have been resolved and the green light has been given.

This practice of Holding vehicles at the ramp was started with the 02 T-bird. It makes it fair for all the dealers.
All sold units will be held untill this date as well.
