Thumbs up

Hi,
I noticed that there are a few Canadians on the board who have ordered ‘05’s since January. I placed my order last week and my dealer says about six to eight weeks, is this realistic? I will be replacing my ’03 GT with the ’05, so I’m trying to get an idea as to when I should put the ‘03 up for sale?
Thanks for any input, from what I’ve read on the board it seems that our lead times are not the same as the American ones.

From what I have heard, the lead times are very reasonable at 6-8 weeks for the Mustang in Canada

I was told the same thing for my V6 convertible - about 8 weeks. So far, seems on track. Ordered Jan. 13/05; received DORA Feb. 3/05; notified that scheduled for build Feb. 21/05.

Hey There, I ordered mine and I'm in Canada as well, they also said 6-8 weeks, but it's been approx. 13 weeks, and my ETA is on Sunday, the 20th. But this is a V-6 5-speed mind you, and I heard they were having troubles with them, so maybe it was just my specifications that took longer to build. Originally, they said it couldn't be built. Then my dealer called back and said it could be built... By May or June. UNLESS I delete my interior upgrade package, or just change it to sport upgrade, which is cheaper, and kinda what I wanted anyways.
Hopefully your GT will arrive faster

I live in Vancouver, and I ordered mine.
a redfire GT on Nov 26th
It had a build week of Jan 24th and was appearently shipped already but I don't know the date.

Talked to the dealer today and he mentioned something about the snowstorms playing havoc with delivery dates.. Is there anyone having snowstorms out there as I never noticed them on the weather forcast.

I'm still waiting and I'm starting to get pi$$ed off!

Wait time is not as bad as in the states.
Ordered my vert on Jan. 27
Received my VIN Feb. 18
Expect a build date early March

I test drove a GT 5 speed today and nearly wet my pants. It was awesome and I want my car more than ever.

Depends if you ordered the IUP. Could be a long wait.

VIN# 1ZVH--------172541. I don't have any information as to whether bucked or not - I haven't checked with the dealer. How are you tracking that kind of information? Thanks. Grant

Ordered my GT with IUP on December 9th, from Eastgate Ford in Hamilton, and it arrived a day or so ago. Not too bad considering the IUP hold.

Should have it next week.

I ordered GT with IUP (in Saskatchewan) first week of jan. Becuase of the IUP hold, it was delayed slightly. My dealer called a week ago, and told me things are starting to move forward now, and I can expect an april delivery.
