Dude, this ain't no big storage box. It measures about 6 1/2" width seat to seat, 7" front to back, and 6 1/2" deep.

If I was guessing, based on the size of the area, and the cryptic post, I would say he is talking about a handgun. I could be wrong. More power to him if he has a concealed carry permit.

From the second picture, what is that flat panel on the left? What is under it? Fuse box? Wonder why they wouldnt have just a square box, must be there for some reason.

Yes, a hand gun. No, you don't need a concealed carry permit to have it in the glove box or the center console. I can show you the statues if anyone is interested. I am willing to put my butt on the line because I know this is fully legal in my state, so please no "You have to have a CCW to carry" arguments. That was why I was being vague, trying to avoid an argument.

I love FL for that reason. 19 years old, and I can have a hand gun in my car "enclosed in a container with a lid." Can't get a CCW permit until I am 21, so this will suffice, just like it does now in my truck.

I don't know about FL, but in CA I think you can have it in a container as well...as long as it is unloaded. which, is retarded...but whatever.

That is awesome. In KY and TN, where I grew up, you have to have a CCW in order to carry in your car. In KS, there are no CCWs at all.

In some states, the glove box is considered and extention of your home. So no permit is needed.

KS could have had CCW last year, oh well. Your governor was trying to court Kerry for VP.

Yeah, I can have it loaded and everything. Getting it from my apartment to my truck is sketchy. Don't want to carry in a gun case and freak all my neighbors out, and that might even be considered concealed? Lol. Who knows, luckily it is only about 50 feet door to door, and is gated, so I am in the clear.

Yeah I know. I recently moved here, and I had my Libertarian voter registration ready to send in when I realized that Sebelius (sp?) vetoed the CCW. I immediately ripped it up and sent in a Republican registration.

I think in CA that you have to have it in a locked container, unloaded. I'm not a big fan of guns in cars especially with all the road rage out there.
