IMHO, it's better to wait and get what you really want (as long as you can afford it) and be happy, than settling for something you really don't want and then regretting your decision every time you see the car you didn't get drive past.

So if I have charcoal interior it will all be dark then right? Not that light gray? And it will not have any silver accents? Or will it be lighter grey and make me puke? lol

Good eye! You are correct. Not IUP. The grey interior probably threw him off. Just look at the shifter and the steering wheel. All the clues you need.

If you get the automatic be sure and get the IUP. The non-IUP auto shifter looks horrible.

How much more a month would it be over a 5yr loan for the IUP? I am sure it is chump change so just do it and you will be happier than having that little extra cash to blow on junk anyway
Exactly the IUP is $450. Thats less than $10 a month with a 60 month loan.

I think the main problem with many here is now that the V6 will not be avaialble to get the IUP, if you wnat it, you have to get a GT. I know I cannot afford a gt at this time, so i'm stuck.

I could be wrong but the ford build site says you can get a v6 stang with the IUP

You can check. Go to ford and build a mustang you want.

I think its a bunch of bull! Im so mad, cause i really wanted the IUP but a young guy like me cant afford the darn insurance for a GT on top of the monthly payment. I think they should have to make everyone's order with IUP up to a certain date. Like yesterday if thats when they decided to change the rules. But if you think about it, hopefully we can buy upgrades for the interior (like a new auto shifter) or something, they gotta help us out here! I called me dealer and he said mine is still on hold but he had no word on them not making the V-6 with the IUP anymore and he was the fleet mgr. for them. I hope and wish it would just be a rumor!

Did anyone else notice the passenger side air bag door is different on the IUP and NON-IUP?
