My Dealer says that my car is scheduled to be built on April 7th, but the ERL says that I am C/U and no VIN. I think my dealer is trying to keep me happy and made up the date but can the ERL be wrong?

I highly doubt the the ERL would be that far off. Computers generally don't lie and I've read that the "lie" is a key tool for some dealers to keep you from going elsewhere.

If you really want to know, call Customer Service. If you have the dealer number and order number, they will give you your status.

Where can I get the number for customer service and do I need to act like a dealer to talk to these guys?

No problem and good luck. At least you already have an 05 in the household. Hopefully she lets you drive it!

Actually she says it's mine until mine comes in. Great wife huh?

Funny, but for me it was the opposite... dealer said "all I know is you've pulled." ( FOR 3 WEEKS!) and ERL only said "build week 4/4"

I think my dealer was playing it safe and didn't want to get my hopes up if it fell through... but now I'll bet he'll be happy to tell me "locked in to build this week!"

ERL can be off a bit. She said my car was at the ramp for several days, when in fact it had been delivered to the dealer and already prepped.
