Wondering if anyone has tried to change thiers yet, or peeked at it? Is it difficult to change?
Im assuming the 05's have them as the 06 book tells you how to change.

I had a post about this a while back. I didn't find any specific info on how to change them out. I am planning on doing mine VERY soon. I had one on order, and it should be in at my dealer. I'm planning to pick it up today or tomorrow and dropping it in. I know where it's located, but I don't have any instructions on getting in there.

If anyone has anything more specific, please let me know. I'll be sure to snap some shots or put up some more detailed info if you wish. Let me know.

Should be today or tomorrow (more likely) when I do the install.

How much did it cost? I saw on the WIX website that WIX also makes cabin air filters, but I'm not sure if they make one yet for the Mustang. Always liked WIX oil filters (made by Dana, or at least they used to be)

Cabin Air Filter

The cabin air filter is located under the RH cowl vent screen. To install a new cabin air filter, remove the RH cowl vent screen. For additional information, refer to Section 501-02 .

I just looked at mine and I don't think you need to remove the wipers, just the two pin-type retainers and the RH cowl vent screen.

Here is a shot showing the filter (behind the battery). Easy to access. I removed the two fasteners and I am lifting the cowl vent up in the pic.

Be careful when you remove the two fasteners since the plastic push-in retainers like to pop out when you lift the RH cowl vent.

Nice pic.

How often do we need to change that filter, anyway?
