Buyer Beware

Hello from Virginia ....First time post......I have several dealers in my area that have GTs in stock on ford. com I thought some of the Msrp was a little high....so, I took all options down, built and priced the car on ford.com.... searched inventory, came up with EXACT matches at the dealer in my area But MSRP for what I built and what is at dealer is $1295 difference. Called ford ....MSRP sticker is set by dealer? I thought all factory stickers were the same? Evidentally NOT....I figured I would have to pay MSRP ....but some dealers have an extra profit built into this?

Some of the diffferences may be freight and regional advertising charges. Buy from the dealer and those are passed on - to everyone. Ordering may alter some of these charges, hence the difference.
Thoughts, gang?

Usually they put it on the dealer sticker. The Chevy dealer had a "Market Adjustment" of $10 K on the SSR. I'm still laughing about that one.
