Hang in there, Stadifer. I just heard the same thing. It may not be the date I was hoping for, but being locked in isn't too bad.

As of May 3 shipped via convoy carrier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, now I have to get some money to pay for the car.
I hate it when reality happens.
But I love it when a plan comes together.

I'm pre-approved through my local credit union . When the car comes in the final invoice will be faxed to me. Once I approve it the dealership will fax it to the Credit Union where I will pick up the check, go to the dealership, pick up my car, drive off into the sunset.

Hmmm... I've never carried a check valued over $20,000 in my life. Almost feel the need to get a brief case and handcuffing it to my wrist.

Did the A-team ever use a Mustang?

I knew that somebody would catch that. I don't know if the ever drove a Mustang. I know they had some big van. And for decorated Vets they couldn't seem to hit anything they shot at. Lots of car crashes though.

Yeah, the black van with the red stripe, and one corvette that Dirk Bennedict drove.

That was the best part - 5000 rounds and one flesh wound...

The ERL has been saying "you are locked in for build week of May 2nd" for a week and the same thing today. So i e-mailed my pal the Service Manager at the dealer i ordered my car from. He sent me back the whole Oasis report (just as he gets it). It said, among other things, that it was finished being built Friday may 6th YES !!!!!!

Fritz, Silver GT Coupe IUP and everything, built May 6th ....it's getting close.

I honestly don't know... I would imagine the car is started and completed the same day of your build day. I wouldn't imagine anymore then 48 hours considering how many Mustang's they can turn out in a day. Most people say it's about 3 weeks from build date to receive the car. I have a build date of May 18th so I'm expecting it sometime around June 6th.

could be some QC checks, I think you'll hear released soon enough, and then shipped! My scheduled arrival date moved up according to my dealer to the 11th, we'll see, I doubt it will be here this week, but u never know!

I think the ERL hasen't been updated lately. Because i'm still stuck on the "as of May 2nd" thing. But acording to the Oasis report, (from my dealer) it was built Friday the 6th.

Fritz, Silver "05" GT Coupe IUP and everything ...built 5/6

Not sure, I think there have been posts about it, I think its like a 25-30 mile test, shouldn't hold u up any more than a day or two, assuming they don't find anything. Don't mean to make you worry, it was just an idea as a possible explanation. Could just need to be updated!

No joke, there was a member here that had their car show up with a special window sticker that said the car was pulled for QC. It had a hand written spot with 25 miles or something like that written in. I would look for thread, but I'm too lazy right now : ) Try searching for it on quality check or something like that.

Yeap... They note the mileage on the car after they conclude the QC testing. So your card should be within that number by no more then I would say 5 miles. On the upside you can tell if the dealership tried to joy ride your car or not .
