Me too. I think the ERL wears a miracle ear, but the batteries are dead! I tried using the VIN once and I kept getting "I do not understand" and I started laughing and she said "I do not understand" again. I gave up and went back to using my order number. For some strange reason, I hoped using the VIN option might yield more favorable news!

i called and got the same......schedualled to be built the week of april 11......what do u think is goin on over there haha........ok CONTEST TIME!! WHO WILL BE THE 1st TO HEAR THEY GOT SHIPPED FROM THIS BUILD WEEK!!!!???? (see what this wait is doing to me/us!!)

 

I'm in, except I wouldn't want to be the first to get news of being built. Everyone would hate me more than they already do.

 

I just called and got "As of April 15th, your vehicle has been released by the foreign assembly plant." I'm hoping that means it's on it's way to the convoy. Yippee!!

Yeah, Greg. I've heard of the "foreign assembly plant" before. It was in an earlier post on another thread. A search might find something about it but I haven't tried.

My status hasn't changed. I just checked it. I'm hoping it's just an oversight. I'd hate to think my car was built on a Friday, even worse, on TAX DAY, where the workers' minds might be elsewhere. Yikes!

This reminds me of a question I've had . . . is there a way for us to find what exact day our cars where built?

 

It is Monday and as of 9am CST i am still getting "As of April 14th your unit is locked in for production week of April 11th.

its really slow to be updated.....we still have a contest here guys haha. anyways if something was changed they would let us know via recording......work time talk to u guys later

Hey CelticCub, just had to say I like your color choices! I too ordered a Legend Lime with Charcoal interior (although I went with cloth)... I'll be interested to see what that combo looks like... the only Legend Lime pics I've seen have been with parchment interior (which seems nice too)... sorry to speak out of topic but it's not like we have updated status to discuss

Thanks, I like the combo too. I was going to go with parchment, but I thought it looked a little washed out. Seemed bland to me. Although, I did like the way the door panels had that 2-tone effect going on. Aside from that, I thought the darker carpet might hide scuffs and dirt better. Just a personal preference. I'd take either, but I prefer the dark charcoal over the parchment. The attached photo was posted on here earlier by another member (sorry I don't know who) and it helped me decide on the darker of the two available interiors.

Wow... my first look at the colors of my car... Thanks Chris! In some way it feels like my car is one step closer to being realized after seeing that... now I'm definitely glad I went with the charcoal... I love the way it looks... I chose the charcoal for the same reasons... saw the legend lime in person and to me it looks much lighter in person than in pics... wanted the interior to contrast and charcoal seems to do that nicely... plus the practicality of hiding dirt/stains better... and gives it a modern feel inside (strangely, seems to nicely complement the retro exterior quite well IMO)

As if I wasn't hyped-up enough already about getting this car... Thanks Man!!

Ok. I looked at the post of the build week before us (April 4th Build - http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...pic=20769&st=0) and it appears that the first reportings of "shipped" started the following Monday (11th) at 11pm... so hopefully in a couple hours we'll start hearing that our cars are on a train already!
