I know not all of my fellow 4/11 build week buddies have received their cars, but of those that have did we ever declare a winner? Who received their car first? I got mine on the 20th

You must have been built early in the week! I fear I was built on a Friday... even worse, TAX DAY! Yikes! Hope that won't reflect poorly in the quality of my car.

CelticCub, I called the CS line last week and was told for sure that my build date was April 15th. Already an easy day to remember, now It's the birthday of my Lorelai! Now if only she'd get to the dealer so I can go take delivery!

Yes, before anyone posts "I know this thread is worthless without pics". It is pouring down rain in St. Louis so the pics will have to wait. But I GOT MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!! It is so beautiful! The dealer forgot to put my antenna on, but that will be easy to resolve I hope. I didn't really get to drive like I wanted to tonight with the rain. I drove a stick for 12 years but haven't driven one for the last 3 years so I was I little tenative tonight. When the weather clears up, look out St. Louis (LOL)!

 

Tom, you got that right! I only worked half a night and I could barely concentrate. Everyone on the evening shift checked out my car and loved it. Tomorrow through Thursday I'm on dayside, so they can see it too. The car is a BLAST! You're going to be so happy you got one, man. Thanks for the nanners and the desert. I'm starved. I was so pumped I skipped dinner! Time for a midnight snack!

Thanks, Greg. It bears repeating, it's well worth the wait! Your time is near, I'm sure. You're going to love this. Be careful though, that car gets away from you quick. I got up to 80 mph without even breaking a sweat. Oops!

Thanks, Tom! I am totally in love with this lil green beast. I gotta warn you though, you might overdose on ADRENALINE when you drive it! That sound is just plain intoxicating.

I was so pumped up, I was running around the car snapping pix while my salesman was trying to affix the plates! He kept ducking out of the way. I had him take a pic of me with the car fresh from the detail shop. His first attempt was funny. I accidentally left the camera on the video setting, so I have a ten-second video of me standing still in front of the car while he asks "Why is it counting down?" (meaning the video was rolling).

TOM, YOU ARE GONNA LOVE THIS CAR!!! So is everyone else who gets one. It has far exceeded my expectations...

 

Hopefully I'll be in town when the car arrives so I can take my own pics, but I plan on dropping a disposable camera off at the dealership so they can snap some pics of it coming off the truck if I'm not there. I'm also considering some lamaze classes.

IM STLL WAITING!! and mines at the ramp. the mixing lot is sooo close to me too. today is a nice perfect sunny day it would be a shame if it didnt come today. ohhhh my god i got soo much to do i have to go to the bank and everything. oscar i think our cars should be here by sometime within this week. theres still alot of time but id like it now please!!
