I havn't been this excited about a new car since when I ordered my 1969 Roadrunner. Makes me fell like a kid again. I have ll/7 build date, hope it is built near the middle of the week. I got the information off blue oval network and a buddy of mine works for ford. Between the 2, I have been able to track its progress.

As per Kzinti at BOF I am scheduled to be built on Friday 11/11. The 2-3 weeks until my Pony reaches the Jersey Shore. Unfortunately I think I will miss the last remnants of warm weather, this weekend was in the 70's would have been perfect for first drive with top down.

Ya Tony, I am having a hard time with the wait. This forum is a blast, finding more information all the time. I did drive the '89 GT Convt to work today, as I drove by the Ford dealer it just turned in all by itself. They have 7 GT's and 3 Saleens on the lot including a Vista Blue GT with IUP and Lt Graphite. I just had to sit in it and pick up another brochure with our clubs on the back . As you know that put me over the edge to buy one. Still waiting for an update from KZinti at Blueoval. He is a very busy man!! Thanks for checking in.

Hi Dan, Are we excited yet?? so close yet so far. I did hear from Ksinti he said mine will be built this Wed. plus he sent my window sticker. He also said that the plant will not operate today so employees can vote. Let me know when yours comes in and post some pics.

yes i am totally excited. i am trying to get a heloc on my house, so i hope it goes thru within the couple weeks it will take to get here. This is my second mustang in a year. I ordered an 05 and had to get rid of it for personal reasons. Then my reasons changed, and reoredered an 06 bigger and better, with all the whistles. So I am really excited about my second one. Can't wait, but hey this wait is less than a 1/3 of the time i had to wait for my 05. Chat at you soon.
