I don't know the TSB number but apparently there is a new TSB out (my dealer told me) for cars built before 3/05 to address the brake squeal there is a different set of rear pads

I think it's 05-18-10, but mine have stopped squealing. Don't know why. They just have.

I just got back from the dealer not 30 minutes ago on this very issue. Man, those guys do everything they can to convince you that the car doesNT need repair. The brakes sounded aweful, but all they kept saying was "oh well, that's normal these days with the new pad types and all".

Luckily, because I had the TSB in hand, they've agreed to do some work on the rear brakes.

What about the fronts though? Has anyone had any luck with them? What did you do?

Had mine done on Monday. No more squeel.

Most dealers don't stock the pads. My dealer had to preorder. Only 1 day though. You are correct about the dealer being reluctant to repair for this issue. Must have a copy of the TSB or the dealer will tell you the brake noise is normal.

Same goes for the seat TSB. I had it fixed at the same time.
