Coming up on 20,000 miles and starting to hear some brake squeal.

Anybody else encounter this?

Is 20,000 about "NORMAL" for new pads and rotor turning?

I have a feeling that it's time for a new set, since I'm always "Hauling" on the German Autobahn, the brakes are constantly getting a workout.

Anybody else getting this at 20K ?

Tom

I just changed the front rotors and all brake pads at 20,000 km. I feel a lot of improvement now, which means it was time for the replacement.

Mine had the typical squeal when it was new, but soon went away. Now it's back. I think it's because of the warmer weather. I plan on taking it in for the TSB and getting them for free.

I think the TSB for the brake squeel is only covered under warranty for 20,000 km? If so, do it right away. I think it says on the TSB.

Danke!

I probably won't bother with it, squeal is coming from the front, so it must be normal wear of pads. I'll just do them all.
