Brad Pitt is Frank Bullitt
Brad Pitt is Frank Bullitt
Looks like Brad Pitt will play Frank Bullitt in a remake of Bullitt. I wonder if they will use a '68 or a '08 Bullitt. Either way, I'm sure it will be highland green. Your Thoughts...

I agree, tired of the same guys in almost every movie. Nick Cage, Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis or George Clooney, seem like they are in every movie.
Weird as he is, Matt Mcconehey (sp?) would be pretty good in that role, or this young guy that I just watched in "Smokin' Aces" he was also in Van Wilder hes pretty good, Christian Bale was also great in Batman, so he would be pretty good as well.
agree dont care who is in it, just that the car chase is with real cars, no ridiculous jumps etc.

I have to agree. I'm tired of seeing the same three or four actors in EVERY movie. I also think that Christian Bale would be a good choice. He's a very underrated actor and I think he would do the role justice. Hopefully, it won't be another Miami Vice remake. Regardless, I'm more excited to see if they use the '68 or '08 Bullitt.
I'm cringing at the thought of a remake. There's no way they can do justice to the original. It will be like the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds, full of pyrotechnics and impossible stunts. I hope I'm proven wrong, but I don't think I will be.

I don't think they can find an actor who can fill Steve McQueen's shoes...certainly not Brad Pitt...but what the heck I will be watching it for the Stang - Charger scene, so it won't make that big of a difference...
just watched it on HD for the first time (and DEFINETELY will not be the last) and i have to say, a remake would definetely be a bad idea.
it will be overproduced, cheesy, and in my opinion just would not have the same "pinash" the original has with the classic muscle cars.
