Blown motor - swap options?

I have a 2009 mustang GT with a blown motor. I was wondering if a 2010 3v would be a direct swap into my 09?
if not, what will I need for the swap or will it be cheaper to find a motor that’s 05-09? Just a side note, I found a low mileage 2010 motor for $850 which is why I asked but it needs a timing cover, intake, and oil filter housing which I was hoping to swap over.

From what I can tell, the engine itself didn't change from '05-10. The new interior and exterior were different, truth, and there may be computer differences. And there may be intake/exhaust differences. So what you'll wind up doing is stripping the stuff off the '10's block, and swapping the '09 stuff to it. Intake, exhaust, etc. All that.

So your timing cover and oil adapter would move over for sure, and whatever else is needed. Should work.

But don't quote me on it...
