Ordered Monday evening 06-12-06.

Got the call at 9:10 AM this morning; car had arrived late Saturday. Drove right over and took it for a test ride -- 4 weeks to-the-day from when I ordered it. It's sweet. Actually stopped at home to snap some photos. The dealer's interior shop (outside contractor) will pick it up later today to install the red/black Katzkin seats. I should have it on Wednesday.

When it's finished, I'll post photos. In the meantime, thanks to all of those who answered all of my quirky questions. As much as I wanted to, I did not call the ERL or attempt to track the car on my own. I'm fortunate to live in a big city, and I ordered the vehicle from a high volume dealer. They did the rest. The car as ordered is a triple black 5 spd GT loaded (except for the Shaker 1000 and the GT appearance package). My car is actually the first and only 07 Mustang that this dealer has received.

Best of all, my name is printed right on the window sticker from Ford. How cool is that ?

Congrats Walt, I am glad you got your car. I ordered mine the same day and it is in town and I am waiting for the dealer to call. I guess we both got very lucky to only have to wait 4 weeks to get ours.

Congrats! That was super fast! You must have been a good boy this year, ha, ha. Mine is supposed to take six weeks based on the delivery date given on the VOPC. Again, congratulations!

 

Must know someone to get it that quick. Just ordered 07 GT vert triple black this evening. IUP, 3.55 gears, side air-bags, 17" machined wheels, comfort group. Hoping for end of August. ENJOY!!!! What is needed to get the Receipt, Serialized, Produced, etc., dates???
