I went to the dealership that I had placed the order for my 2005 Mustang at (Earnhardt Ford, good people), and low-and-behold, they had a nice black GT, just sitting there. As far as I know, there are only a few here in Arizona so far, and I didn't want to wait until January to get mine. This GT was way more loaded than the one that I had ordered. My new Mustang is black, a GT Premium,Medium Parchment Leather, 5-Speed, Shaker 1000, Polished Aluminum wheels, wheel locks, Anti-Theft... I will just say this... It hauls!!! I love it. Just thought I would share this with all of you. I will post pictures later. Hope everyone enjoys theirs as much as I enjoy mine.

My dealer from Five Star Ford in Scottsdale called me last week and told me that they had a Torch Red Mustang GT on the lot. I went to see it. Wow!! It was IUP, auto, Shaker 500, and 17" aluminum wheels. I got a chance to sit in it, but didn't drive. There was a $2995 market charge added on to it. He said that when he told his managers about mine, they said to 'make sure and add the $2995 to the price.' He told them that he already had a set price that we agreed on in August, so they didn't add it on. But still......
Anyways, I didn't have a camera and I haven't upgraded to a camera phone. But it looked nice!! Had 17 miles on it. Don't know if it's still there. (I called and left a message with the dealer, no return call as of yet, 23 hours and 15 minutes later)
On another note, my friend told me that a Torch Red pulled up to him at a light (3 weeks ago) and he turned off his radio and rolled down his window to listen to the growl. He said he was so impressed, and he has a decked out M3. Oh well, his loss! (It wasn't the same Torch because it had temp tags already)

Nice color combo the black/parchment but not something I would choose. I do happen to like how the interior doesn't scream a need for an IUP. It really blends in nicely, but (there's always a but) a leather steering wheel cover is definitely in need!
Enjoy your new Mustang!
The reason I wouldn't get a black: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=8822 :notnice:

I noticed that the interior also looked very nice. First time I've seen a black without the Red.
CONGRATS!!
(especially in finding something that you liked more in person, than you did ordering!)

Congrats Andy!! It looks great! There seems to be very few GTs without IUP, and few Black GT's without ICAP. I still have yet to see one of the road. It seems that Phoenix is one of the areas getting the short end of the Mustang stick!

I live in Phoenix/Glendale area I got my Silver Satin Mustang GT last Wednesday from Sanderson Ford in Glendale. Mine was one of only two that they got in. I did order mine about three months in advance though. I havn't driven it too much yet, but when I have I've had about 5 different people want to race me.

By any chance it your manual shift **** leather covered? The new ford sight says leather shift **** and I was curious if they had actually done this. Then again it may still be on the IUP, it appears you opted not to get IUP.
Very nice color choice!

Oh yeah, the Black with Parchment is pretty much what I have in my current car...one of the best combos there is imo...
I'd love to see a pic somewhere out in the stereotypical AZ environ..ya know lots of sand, sky and a couple of mountains...
