My Dad and I are about fed up with our 2005 V6 Stang! The car refused to start at Best Buy 30 minutes ago! The battery was totally wiped, the engine wouldn't even try to crank. This is the second time that this car has refused to start! I originally thought the the CD player was draining the battery, but this last time there wasn't even a CD in the audio system! We ordered a new audio system over 2 months ago and it still hasnt arrived!!!! We are getting pissed with the Lakeland Automall and the Sonic Blue V6. So far his mustang ownership experience BITES!

Has anyone else had this problem? HELP
He is thinking about lemoning it

Have you talked to the dealer about the electrical problems you have with the car??? If not take it back, mention the problem and have them fix it.
When you're at the dealer ask about the status of the new audio system.

I really doubt you can invoke the lemon law based on a bad audio system and the car not starting a couple times (unless the dealer has been told about the electrical problem and has been unable to fix it after several tries)

If you're not happy with the service of your dealer you could always take it to a different dealer for service/warrenty work.

Good Luck

I went in to get the first shaker replaced and found out the 2nd one is defective ,it seems that with the car turned off the radio then starts to look for a CD (even if the radio and car are off) .I had them disconnect the radio for now untill the next one shows up and that should be in a week .
I just expect a few things wrong being a all new from the ground up car so I don't mind putting up with a few bugs till there fixed and ford seems to be doing that.

IF you want to check on yours when the battery is charged turn the car and radio off and listen to the stacker ... if it sounds like it's looking for a CD and it won't stop ......and you belive this to be the problem get the radio unplugged by the dealer and get them to order a new one.

Lemon Law?
Do you not know what the lemon law is or are you surprised that 2005Stang032 is considering using it?

Personally- I don't think this problem makes the car a lemon.

Take it to a different dealer for crying out loud .... If your current dealer can't get the job done why would you continue to go back to them ??? Dollars to doughnuts it is something VERY simple causing your issue, you are just relying on an inept dealer.

2005stang032,

Well, not to sound like everyone else..but...this is a "first year" car...and there are bound to be bugs...that's normal to have the "newest and hottest"....it happens in cars, xbox's, and shirts (well, maybe not shirts)

Also...take it to another dealer....I have a big dealer (Earl Tindoll Ford) in my area and a small dealer (Wade Ford)....I would never let Tindoll Ford touch my car (did once...regretted it)....I let the small dealer (Wade) handle all mine...they are honest, quick, and pay attetion to detail better than a big guy....Look around your area....
