LOL, I could not disagree more, unless you were saying, "That color is da bomb!" Because the only place that puppy is going to explode is in my driveway!!!

While going to a Quiznos in Canton, Mi today, I got to see a '07 Shelby Vert in the new Orange color. All I have to say is darn! This thing had everyone on the road turning their heads. Unfortunately I didnt have my camera with me. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif[/img] But the sound coming from the pipes was astonishing! Since my mom works for Ford Racing, I was able to drive a Shelby about a month ago and it handles just as good as it looks/sounds. You can actually "feel" the power just by turning the ignition. AWESOME JOB FORD!

 

It looks like a Camero spoiler to me! Just too cheap to be on a Mustang!

 

Color: blah. I bleed orange and I think that color looks atrotious on a car. I bet it'll look better in person. LL looks nasty on paper and in pictures, but is respectable in person... in the right lighting.

Spoiler: DOUBLE BLAH! Terrible! No good comments about it except if that is THE spoiler, I expect to see lots of spoiler delete options being exercised.

I can't believe I never noticed that before. Guess I need to spend more time oogling the 6's and less on the GT's and SVT's.

 

I like the color!

I think that the ducktail needs to arch and taper at the ends to look better.

 

new spoiler needs work, but i like the idea, and the color just effin rocks!

Agreed. I really like the color, good to see them trying different colors. But that spoiler on the other hand I don't like all that much. Looks like a duck tail but does not have that extra something that actual ducktails have. Think I will be keeping my spoiler.

 

Great Color......."Classic Look"....However, it needs flat black spoiler or CDC Type Ducktail!! My $0.02

Same here, I just wish they have the duck tail spoiler. love the color.

 

An orgingal ducktail like on the 68 GT/CS would have gone over a lot better, it just looks like its barely on there...much to cheap looking

 

I may have to go 'Spoiler Delete' and add the GT500 spoiler, but we'll see. Again, did I say I love the color yet? [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img] Thanks for the photos!

I usually hate spoilers,i would go spoiler delete every time,but if i had to have a spoiler,i would pick this new one over the tacked on "wing" on the current stang,i looks alot nicer. I wonder if this a V6 only spoiler,or will the CS/GT be the only '07 with the tacked on wing from '05-06???
I also love the color....for someone else that is,i live in Tennessee,i'm sick of orange.

Now THAT'S funny.

Meanwhile, I'm going to go out on a limb and make this bold prediction. The GT500 has a ducky. Both of the Valencia spy photos show a ducky. The GT/CS is without a doubt, a pre-production 'mock-up'. I'm thinking maybe this new spoiler will show up on all models. V6, GT/CS, GT, Shelby. Ford is banking on the GT500 to be the hottest thing since sliced bread. Why wouldn't they dress up all the 'little brothers' to look like the first born? Just like Dodge has the cross-hair grill from model to model (cars and trucks).

Yeppir, I'm thinking across the board change for all Stangs in 2007. A week to go before the order banks open and they've been very secretive about the MY07s. Kinda makes you think, no?

My humble opinion. I may be way off track with this, but that's my gory, er... story and I'm sticking to it.
