I don't understand why the grey rocker panel from the Shelby is on this car. I LOVE the black trim that goes all around the GT500, but here without it in the back (while it is on the sides) looks HORRIBLE. Why would it be there?
All V6 Mustangs come with that flat black rocker panel.

GTs are body coloured.
Shelby also has the black rockers to match the black chin spoiler and black rear difuser-like bumper

Not diggin the spoiler too much. Why won't Ford invest in a 3 piece ducktail? Will the one-piece ducktails result in a paint shadow where they overlap the rear quarters?

I like the style of the spoiler but i do agree it should be a 3peice and continue all the way to each side insted of 2-3 inches from it
loving the color

Another vote for great color, terrible spoiler.
Ford, just look at a '67/'68 Shelby or a '68 California Special for a "new" spoiler design that would look great on this body style.
If a Boss 329 comes out, (no Mach 1 please ) it will be hard to decide between Valencia and Alloy Grey.

Thank you for round two of spy pics for this beast. Love the color. I kinda like the spoiler. Not the best ducktail, but would take that over the stock spoiler on the '06 models.
Which leads me to this quesiton. Is this 'ducky' coming out only on the V6 Pony Pkg's or will this be the new spoiler across the board... V8 GT's included??

In my humble opinion, I have to agree with Brad, I think the spoiler stinks, why not go for a retro shelby style ................
Just my thoughts............

Good catch. I have been looking for a glimpse of the orange as well. I can't wait to see a few more pictures of this option, especially on the shelby. Now what stripe combo to go with the orage????Hmmmm.
Oh, not real impressed with the spoiler but at least they are doing something different...Baby steps...

Stripes on an Orange Shelby....a very accurate source says white stripes for sure, possibly light silver as another possibility, at least from the factory that is.

It is quite a bit darker, its a very smooth looking color too, almost a smokey black kinda grey. I thought it looked good, wish the would have let us take them outside, but that was a no no. I think the comparison of it being almost black is very good, that thought crossed my mind since the Alloy grey Shelby was parked next to a black Shelby.

Could you tell if the Alloy is a metallic color? I'm guessing it is.
Sounds very much like what makers used to call Graphite in the old days.

Dont' care for the color, but I am simply amazed that Ford can't seem make a nice ducktail. Both this one and the one on the GT-500 just look like a tacked on piece with little thought to intergrating it with the lines of the car.
Street Scene and CDC aftermarket ducktails look so much better. I hope they continue to offer the spoiler delete option for 07.
If this indeed is going to be called Grabber Orange, then can Grabber Blue be too far behind? If I knew right now that Grabber blue was coming out in 08 then I would hold off on getting an 07.
And I agree with Stangnut. Forget the Boss, bring out the Mach1

This color would make a lot of sense with a Shaker and a Twister Special decal.

I agree. But how about a matching Sidewinder Special in Grabber blue?
