Which is better long tubes or shorty headers?

Thinking of buying headers need help on deciding. Looking for great mean sound and some extra HP... Any help would be appreciated ...

I know the testing is done with a 5.0 but in general you get the same results. Long tubes have better gains through out the power band

In an NA situation, shorty headers give little to no gains on any V8 Mustang with a 4.6 built since 1996.
