Best Looking current 05 Mustang

V6 is much better looking for the follwoing reasons:
1. Clean design
2. Great Looking Grill...68 retro look
3. Pony Badging
4. Black Rocker panels
5. Doesn't have a bloated look like the GT's
6. No Four Eyes look in front
7. Truer to retro design of 65-68 fastbacks
GT is overdone because:
1. foglights too big
2. GT Badging
3. Bloated look which some of you call beefy.
4. Rear bumper fascia cover with lip looks bloated
5. colored rocker panels add to "fat" look
Both look much better and cleaner without the spoiler/wing. GT has the best wheels by far and I'm talking Bullets... And both are the first "real" mustangs since the 1970 model that have stirred my enthusiasm for this terrific car so most of my negatives are very minor.
My 2 cents

Whats wrong with the GT emblem on the trunk? And the simple GT emblem on the fenders also. They give it a clean undestated appearance.
Bloated? Aren't both cars the same dimensions on the outside? Just differnt front and rear bumper covers and body colored rockerpannels.
The wider, larger tires also give the GT a more aggressive look, not to mention the dual exhaust.
The only change I'd make to the GT exterior would have been a nice small (almost just a lip spoiler) duck tail, make the grill flat black painted aluminum honey comb and end the rear quarter window in a peak rather than squared off.
I like things simple and clean, I wanted a spoiler delete but didn't want to wait.
I know looks are subjective but having people not like the fogs and or the GT emblems to me is like someone telling me they hate chocolate, I just can't fathom not liking it :P

I purchased a V6 because it's the right car for me, so naturally my vote is for the V6.
However, both versions are beautiful in my eyes and I'm loving all the great pictures posted on this forum.
Enjoy your rides, and show them off proudly, my friends!

I think both cars are beautiful, but prefer the GT. I love the way the bullits look, the rumble of the V8, and the stance of the car. Now, if I only had one! GT wins hands down.

Both look great! I love the power of the GT, but I honestly feel the V-6 looks more like the 67'. I don't like the license plate holder though.

I may not have the "best looking" but I can guaranteeeeeeee I got the most loved one around.
BTW- MR clean auto dry rocks- got her second bath today........
The v6 of 05 is not the family car with a pony body the 04 was......I love the rumble, I love the acceleration.......I love the big bright yellow..... I love the tape stripe, I love my spoiler, I love my little pony on the steering wheel.........I live in a hilly neighborhood. First car EVER the stereo has been turned down on so I can hear her growl.
