Best Exhaust??

Flowmaster ATs. Go to their site for a sound clip. I love them. Very livable. Awesome aggressive sound without the drone. FYI, there are already numerous threads on this topic. Do a search. You will find extensive information with sound clips.

I'm on the same side as Scott above. I have the Borla Stingers (#11750), and LOVE THE SOUND!!!! Everyone who hears them compliments them too. Not obnoxiously loud, but enough for people to know that something mean is coming. And I was originally going to get Flows, until I heard these.

you're definitely not gonna get a clean answer out of a thread like this.. and from my experience sound clips dont sound like the real thing anyway. I love my Bassani's though - and they don't sound exactly like the soundclips ive heard. theres like a million pages on this in the sticky.. lol

That's sort of like asking, "What's better - crunchy or smooth peanut butter?" What's good to one person, makes another want to gag.
But to give you some input on your query, aside from my set up (stock cats, MAC ProChamber, Hooker AeroChambers), the best sounding set I've heard is the stock H w/Corsa mufflers.

I like crunchy/chunky myself, but only on toast with the peanut butter slightly melting. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6.../th_hungry.gif
Back to topic, I have a few Stinger clips in my sig (under Videos).

I took delievery of my 07GT today, I have the FRPP borla stingers sitting in the garage to put on her, but I most be getting old because I don't think it really needs them, sounds pretty **** sweet now, and this is coming from a guy who has 2 chamber flows dumped before the axle on my 91

I agree with a couple of the comments above. Which exhaust sounds best? There is only one answer. The one YOU think sounds the best.
I was all set to get the FRPP Borlas for my GT ( I heard them and liked them a lot) and was talked into trying the chambered MAC mufflers.
I think they sound better than the Borlas and am VERY happy with them but that does not mean thats the mufflers you should get. They may not sound better to you. (the lifetime warranty helps a little)
Everyone has a different idea of the perfect sound and everyone's ears are just a little different. Believe yours.

Here is a little clip arcade I put together.

Currently, I am running the Supreme Performance (FRPP GTA's). They are nice and deep and louder at idle, but not too loud and have no drone. They really give the car an older muscle car but mellow sound. I have before and after video clips done and on my computer, but they are in .wmv format and each over 9Meg, so I'm trying to figure out what I need to compress it and put on the net.

Exactly! Unfortunately I didn't figure that out until I got my first set of pipes.
If you're some place thats relatively warm all year and you can have the windows cracked open, don't worry about drone. On most exhausts they only get annoying when you roll the windows up.

Deep does seem to equate to drone for the most part.
If you do not want any drone but still want nice sound it seems like the only choice would be Corsa. It's the only one that accomplishes that to my knowledge. They also cost more
I'll stick with the MACs and live with a little drone to get "that sound"!
