Best driving music
So, I'm thinkin', now that I have this Shaker with MP3 capability, I think I'll make a mix CD with MP3 songs of all the best driving songs for cruisin', so...
Everyone's got their own opinions of the best music for cruising, but here's a thread to toss out your opinions for everyone else to debate.
What do ya'll think? Throw out some of your favorite driving songs of all time...
I'll kick it off by suggesting Tom Petty probably has quite a few, such as "Free Fallin'," "Runnin' Down a Dream," and "Last Dance with Mary Jane."

For long drives I like some Chemical Brothers, maybe some Fischerspooner and the always great Peachcake and The Lovemakers.
Some harder stuff is fun too, maybe some Thursday or Taking Back Sunday mixed w/some classics as well, maybe some AC/DC or something and to balance it all out, some Roots or Jurassic 5.
I know I am all over the place, but it makes for a great drive!

This is going to sound a little weird (at least to me considering I would never normally listen to techno)...but... on dark, foggy, maybe a little rainy nights (yes, particularly dark nights), when I'm actually driving. Like driving driving. The Fight Club sound track (by The Dustbrothers) is really pretty sweet.... Yeah, def.

3rd CD is all of Led Zepplins songs.
4th CD is all of the Beatles from Revolver to Let it Be.
5th CD is The Monkees and E.L.O.
6th CD is Sabbath , Deep Purple , Mountain.
Never have to worry about changing CD`s again.
All mp3`s.

Oh man, I went to a Def Leppard and Journey concert a few weeks ago. IT WAS AMAZING....totally incredible.
